Antigua
As famous for its
365 beaches as it is for its Classic Yacht
Regatta and Rolex Race Week, Antigua is
a haven for sailors. A great starting
point for yacht charters going either
north or south......but you may find it
difficult to say goodbye to Antigua.
There
are many anchorages but its three famous
harbours are Jolly Harbour, English Harbour
and Falmouth Harbour. Nelson's old naval
Dockyard in English Harbour is a point
of historical interest and beauty. There
is also a museum dedicated to Admiral
Nelson which has many well preserved artefacts.
From
December to May there's great nightlife
to be found in English Harbour and nearby
Shirley Heights is famous for its 'jump-ups'.
